Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:
- modern and bright learning spaces
- a well-stocked library for reading and research
- award winning Outback Adventure Farm
- sports fields include a multi purpose court for tennis, futsal & cricket, a basketball COLA and the oval
- art and music and performance spaces for creative learning
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
Ivanhoe Central School features the award winning "Outback Adventure Farm" our innovative approach to outback farming including our aquaponics set up has lead us to winning the "National Junior Landcare Award" in 2022.
Our teachers conduct theoretical and practical farm lessons from planning what to grow, preparing the fields and garden beds, planting the seeds and harvesting their crop. Selling the produce in our farm store to lastly cooking it during "healthy lunch classes"
