A snapshot of our amazing excursions
Our principal believes that experiencing travel opens up opportunities in life, no matter how remote you live - experiencing different places opens up the outside world and shows that other experiences await you! Opens up our eyes to the outside world! Our school excursions are organised in a very non traditional sense and are more about experiencing the actual destination.
Uluru Excursion 2019
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Fraser Island & Great Barrier Reef 2021
From red dirt to white sands was the slogan for this excursion. Taking in remarkable Fraser Island and creating once in a lifetime memories swimming with turtles on magical Heron Island on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
Canberra & the Snow 2022
Canberra was not done in a traditional sense, we got to visit the NASA Deep Space Communication Centre, Glassworks, the Mint and the Fijian Embassy. After that cultural experience it was time to have some fun in the snow. Bring on the snowman building.
Melbourne and the Goldfields 2023
Our week in Victoria started with a visit to Sovereign Hills where we learned all about the Gold Rush. We then immersed ourself in Melbourne city life with a walking tour of Melbourne taking in the laneways and artwork. Visiting the super cool LUME, our seniors watched a live musical performance and one of the highlights was definitely I-FLY.
Kangaroo Island 2023
This time we were off to Kangaroo Island, southwest of Adelaide. Home to native wildlife including fur seal, sea lions, koalas, diverse bird species and more. In the west, Flinders Chase National Park is known for penguin colonies and striking coastal rock formations, featuring the sculpted Remarkable Rocks and the stalactite-covered Admirals Arch. It is time to soak up one of the best nature experience Australia has to offer.
Sydney & Blue Mountains 2025
This time we travelled to Sydney and focused on culture, nature aspects, wildlife and some city flair. Some of the highlights we experience was sleeping at Taronga Zoo, the Opera House and a high tea at a fancy hotel, a VIVID Harbour Cruise, Annie the musical and OMG the opportunity to do Bridge Climb is something that was simply fantastic.
